Crisis In Farming Organic Vs. Non-Organic Foods

Today I went to the Market to buy some groceries that I need for the dinner that I was going to make for my family. I was surprise that all the food that I need it wasn't there. I was looking for chicken, milk, tomatoes, lettuce. I thought to myself that how can oil be so useful that we need it in many things. Now that we are running out of oil we are suffering of running out of things that we really need. So I decided to go to another market, when I was driving down by Culver City I saw a farmers market located in 1296 Lafayette and Lucerne Ave in Culver City, CA 90232. The name was Little Farm so I decided to stop there and buy the vegetables that I need it. When I was walking down to get some vegetables, there were a lot of people arguing about organic and non-organic foods. An expert was saying the organic food was healthier, that we should all buy organic food because they have the real nutrients without chemicals been added. He said that non-organic food contain chemicals that makes people get sick. Next to him there was another person saying that there is more possibilities that the organic farming leads to contamination with potentially dangerous bacteria and mould toxins, and that this could be as dangerous as organic farming. I was confused and undecided because I didn't know who to believe. There were giving examples of organic and non-organic food, to me both tasted good but I think that I rather go for the organic food because it has been growing in a farm and chemicals are not been added. Fresh fruits and vegetables taste better and they have their natural color. Oil is affecting our way of living because we are running out the things that we really need. Before I just used to walk down the street to buy my groceries now I have to drive 10 miles to look for the groceries because not all stores have them.

Volcanic Erruption Affects U.S. Airlines

Source:http://trycostarica.com/images/640/10_us-airways.JPG
I was one of many people that was affected by the volcanic eruption in Iceland. This eruption affected it many people because they were left stranded at airports around UK. I was desperate because I was going to go see my family. A lot of flights were cancelled. Once social effect about this problem is that not many people are socializing with their families. This situation has affected the economy of the U.S airline flights because they are not receiving money of people that want to travel. I think that it is not a good idea to be giving up our goods and services because we won't have what we really need. I am worry about losing what I really need, I think that if layoffs continue to increase we are going to be losing what we really need. More people are going to end up in debt. More people are going to have a hard time to satisfied their wants specially their needs. My family and me always have our needs as our prioritize and then our wants. We know that we are not going to satisfied our wants until we know that we have cover all of our needs.

What I Learned Today!

Today I learned what supply and demand means.

Supply is the amount of good or service available for purchase by consumers.

Demand is a consumer's desire and willingness to pay for a good or services.
What I found surprising is that Saudi Araibia is the largest oil corporation. From the quiz that we took I got like 5 right. I really don't know a lot about oil. As I research about oil, things get a little more simple to understand.

The News Report

Today I watched a news report about petroleum and I learned that gasoline is getting more expensive it gained over a dollar per gallon on average. The gasoline prices to record high. We are depending on the usage of oil a lot. What I found most surprising was that most of the things are made out of oil. Many people use don't know that most of the things are made by oil.

Life Without Women's Polyester Pants

I never thought that polyester pants were going to come into an end. I am very sad because yesterday I went to the clothing store to buy me some new women's polyester pants because my old pants that I had were ripped. I was shock because there were no more polyester pants. I cannot imagine my life without having polyester pants because I use polyester pants to do everything exercise, sleep and go out, now I am not going to be comfortable using other pants. My life is not going to be the same without polyester pants.
